About Outreach & Prevention
Ending Violence Through Education & Action
Violence doesn’t begin in crisis — it begins in silence, misunderstanding, and harmful beliefs. Haven’s Outreach & Prevention programs work to break these cycles by educating youth, partnering with communities, and creating spaces where conversations about safety, consent, and respect are possible. We believe that when a community understands the roots of violence, it has the power to stop it.
What We Do
Building Safer Communities Through Awareness
Our prevention work reaches schools, service providers, local agencies, and the public through education, workshops, and advocacy events. Programs are tailored to age, need, culture, and language — always focused on building empathy, accountability, and safety.

Why It Matters
Change Begins Before Crisis
Survivors deserve support — but prevention aims for a future where fewer people must become survivors. By starting conversations early, challenging harmful norms, and uplifting the value of every person, we work toward a community where violence is neither hidden nor accepted.
“Prevention is hope in action — teaching today to protect tomorrow.”
